A Nasty Surprise 2016 Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 SE A few months ago my mum announced she needed a new car. I'd told her this about a year ago, and that she needed a Ford. As a result, mum announced she was going to look at a Vauxhall. Being the car snob that I am, I had to step in and promptly arranged a vist to the local Ford dealership so we could go in, buy a Fiesta and all would be well. It would be brilliant as mum would have her new car and I would have access to a brand new Fiesta to steal at weekends. However, it was not to be. The salesman did an excellent job of convincing us not to buy a new Fiesta and face the depreciation, but to buy a used car in the colour mum did not want. And to top it off he tried to sell us one without a spare wheel (more on that nonsense another day). This leads us on to the Vauxhall Corsa. A car I do not like because I am a narrow minded Ford man who would never buy a Vauxhall. That was until I got into the Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 SE. Please dont mention ...

Hello and Welcome

Hello and welcome to Average Cars for Real People. Most of the internet is dedicated to supercars and hypercars that us Real People will never own. This is a little corner of the interweb for those of us who will daily a Ford Focus, aspire to own a Jaguar and whose guilty pleasure is the Suzuki Ignis that we cant quite explain. My blog posts will be about real cars that I have owned, driven or experienced. I'll criticise, make fun and possibly offend, but if this steers you towards buying that little nugget you've always loved tucked in your neighbours garage or stops you buying a Vauxhall Corsa (despite the fact they're quite good) then my work here is done!
